Tracing their history to the Hebrides (a 500+ island archipelago off the west coast of Scotland) today's Hebridean sheep are descendants of flocks that were relocated to the English mainland in the late 19th century. Best known for the dark, lustrous color, Hebridean wool is suitable for outer garments and blankets. Suitable for spinning, weaving, knitting and felting. Staple Length: 2 - 6 inches.
